We are a small Heritage/ Rare breed farm. We have Blue Sweedish Ducks, several breeds of rare chicken,Bourbon Red and Blue Slate Turkeys. We are continuing on with some of our long time favorites: Boer goats,Jersey Wooly Rabbits and Silkie chickens. Careful research has been going on for many months so that we can offer quality livestock that will also thrive in our area. Healthy, disease & parasite resistant livestock with gentle temperments are our main goal.If we can satisfy these requirements as well as help preserve an endangered breed, we will have reached our main objective.
Some of our animals are loaned out to local studios for Spring/ Easter photos and other events. If you are a photographer and would be interested , please contact us anytime.
If you have an animal and can no longer keep it- please try to find it a new home or adopt it out. Do Not turn these animals loose. Regardless of species , they can not take care of themselves. These are domestic animals that have very little in common with their wild ancestors.They don't have their natural coloring, they're not used to the environment or predators, they depend on humans for their food and they don't have a natural fear of humans.All of these things keep our wildlife safe.
